LACRIMOSA - one of the most famous German Gothic bands - celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. They had shaped and influenced the Gothic music scene in the last years and now, after 20 years they release the double CD ‘Schattenspiel’.
‘Schattenspiel’ is a review of their musical history, but it's not a typical best of compilation; furthermore it is a compilation of unreleased songs from the whole band history, combined with primary versions of well-known songs and two new songs from 2010. I think this compilation is a really good idea, much better than a typical "best of" album and a "must have" for the fans all over the world.
