Album Review

SLAYER is one of the oldest and heaviest Thrash Metal bands. Founded in the early 80s and never weaken their sounds like other Thrash bands (Remember METALLICA and MEGADETH). SLAYER maybe the hardest band of the whole planet if you get it from a mainstream view, and even in the underground they were always respected and worshipped. After the loss of founding member Jeff Hanneman in 2013 they returned with their 11th album ‘Repentless’. Gary Holt tries to fill out the hole Hanneman left and he makes his job quiet good. Without any sign of weakness SLAYER again shows who are the real owners of the throne of Thrash Metal. Tom Araya is yelling his vocals like the perfect hate preacher, the guitars shredding everything to pieces, Bostaph’s drums are like an unstoppable war machine which is tearing all obstacles and enemies into the dust. For twelve new tracks they open they open gates of hell again. SLAYER always were merciless and brutal, still they are. Again a must have for all head-bangers and thrash fans.
