Maybe I’m getting too old… maybe I don’t get it… or maybe…! UNTERSCHICHT is a new band that released an album at Danse Macabre. That circumstance is the most disappointing fact in my opinion. Expecting good quality like EFFTER, EDEN WEINT IM GRAB or MY FRIEND SKELETON, I was crestfallen when listening to ‘Dreckig und laut’ (Dirty and Loud)… Nome nest omen (both: band and release), that’s all I have to say. It’s another one of these electro bands who wants to be harsh and outstanding… reality of course is pretty different. Whether it’s the composition and the arrangements that make me yawn, the dull and featherbrained lyrics or the ridiculous and embarrassing kind of behaviour… UNTERSCHICHT is a band no one needs at all. Over and done!
