When it comes to artists with classical musical education, it is always worth to check out their creativity, isn’t it? But what could be more surprising than to have a Synth Pop album made by that kind of musicians. Although, these prejudice should be forgotten in the century of electronic music, and so just curiosity is left. Their first album UNDERWATER PILOTS released back 2004 not only in Europe, but also in US and Russia. This work was compared to the legendary COVENANT and had a quite positive feedback. Since then their name was connected just with remixes for such artists as Anne Clark, FUNKER VOGT or DOPE STARS INC. The waiting for the album seem to be endless, but the new album, which is btw. called ‘Endless’, is finally out.
Those who truly devoted themselves to Synth Pop will really enjoy the album, as well as those who enjoys Synth Pop with atmospheric dark a bit monotonous vocals and pure electronic sound. Somebody would need a bit more time to fall in love with this album. For those who prefer more or less emotional music or would like to listen to something fresh hardly would be able to value this album. ‘Endless’ is high class synth album, made with love and intimate knowledge of how the good album should sound. But sometimes mistakes and experiments sound much more interesting than a perfectly written out album. Eleven beautiful melancholic ballads are calling to whirl in a dance, watching snowflakes in the night, but don’t turn your head. Songs like ‘Your Soul’ and ‘Mindscape’ are really catchy and still able to fight for the place near COVENANT.
