Album Review
WANT/ed started in 2010 in Kaliningrad/ Russia and in last September they released their debut album titled ‘A Few Steps Behind The Sun’. The band is playing Synth-Pop with very nice melodies and catchy tracks influenced from bands like Depeche Mode, Mesh and Iris. The album contains up-tempo tracks like ‘Start To Live’ or ‘Secret Dialogs’ and also down-tempo emotional tracks like ‘You’re Right’ or ‘Go Up’. The production of the album made by a well-known Norwegian musician Isak Rypdal who has such successful projects as Disco Valentine, Freeloader, Electro Spectre and the result is very good. In my opinion a point that needs a little improvement is the vocals. Evgeny's voice is good but I think he must improve his accent and in some points in the album his voice sounds a little bit weak but I think these points are easy to improve. In conclusion I have to say that we have a very mature album something which is not so easy for a debut album and an album that will surely pleasure the Synth-Pop fans.
