Swedish legendary Death Metallers are back with their 12th album titled ‘Dawn Of The Nine’. 'Dawn Of The Nine' is the 3rd concept album, the previous two were 'As Yggdrasil Trembles' and 'Odalheim'. The subject of those albums is taken from Norwegian mythology and the battle for the end of the world and what happens after it. About the music of the album UNLEASHED offering us for one more time Epic, Viking, Death Metal with very good production with great guitars, powerful drumming and strong barbaric vocals.
The artwork made by Pär Olofsson (IMMORTAL,EXODUS and more) is very good and fits perfect with the concept of the album. Best tracks of the album are ‘They Came to Die’, ‘Defenders Of Midgard’ and ‘Dawn Of The Nine’ - songs with great guitar riffs and great guitar solos, the self-titled track with the “catchy” chorus. 'Where Is Your God Now' is a song with great drumming and 'Where Churches Once Burned' a song for non-stop head-banging. If you are seeking progression this is definitely not an album for you. On the other hand if you are seeking pure original heavy as hell Death Metal for sure you must check ‘Dawn Of The Nine’.
