The new EP entitled ‘Army of Time’ of Chilean industrial metal formation VIGILANTE is supposed to give some hints about the upcoming full-length album of the band and feature 5 tracks which are mainly different version of only two songs. So the first composition presented in three versions is the title track that really allows to judge about the prospective release and produces a very good impression: powerful, rich music, intricate arrangements supplemented with the great voice of Victor Love from DOPE STARS INC. won’t disappoint even those who listen to VIGILANTE’s music for the first time. The remix by FUTURE TRAIL may compete with the original version of the song in quality and expressiveness. As for the live version there’s nothing to cavil at. The two quite rigid remixes of ‘Prison Break’ have their moments and will interest fans of the genre however it would be better to appreciate the original compositions as well. Well, in general VIGILANTE did a good job and thanks to the EP it’s getting more interesting to listen to the new album.
