Dear Electro fans, in proving the slogan „darker – harder – louder“, the E-tropolis Festival stands for excellence in electronic music since 2010. Packed in a massive event, its broad variety masterfully achieves to combine the dark facets of electronic music.
E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL RELOCATED TO OBERHAUSEN
An old proverb says: „a rolling stone gathers no moss“! Thus, after three marvelous festivals in Berlin, the time has come to move forward and to begin a new chapter for 2014, to keep everything fresh by a nice change of scenery. Accordingly in 2014 the E-tropolis Festival will change location and relaunch on 22nd February at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen.
Together with the fitting ambience and its authentic historic background, the Turbinenhalle will provide the ultimate scenery for a winter-set festival. In fact, the complex, established in 1909, was used for the production of power and steam-pressure for the Westphalian steel industry until the 1980s and got transformed into a center for cultural events during the early 1990s, now providing two live stages, a disco area, an indoor merchant gallery and much more. Sufficient parking space right in front of the venue also contributes to a relaxed festival experience!
Musically the E-tropolis Festival stays faithful to its roots. Whether classic ebm, industrial, electro- and synth-pop, rhythm & noise attacks or modern cyber beats, the fourth E-tropolis Festival will again set standards and present 15 of the scene´s most popular acts worldwide, accompanied by an additional party-floor with 5 DJs! Pre-sale of the exclusive original tickets will open on 1st May 2013 at the ticket-shop at www.etropolis-festival.de/tickets or www.amphi-shop.de. Also 5+1 group tickets will be available only from us (and for a limited time). From 2nd May 2013 E-tropolis tickets will also get available at all nationwide CTS/EVENTIM box offices! The ticket price is 38.00 € plus charges and delivery.
