Dear Blackfield community, here we are with some news from the festival promoters: Only two more months to go until we will all see each other again at the beautiful Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen to celebrate Blackfield 2013. The warm-up party – season has started, the planning is coming to a close and tension is mounting. We can’t wait for the festival to begin and hope you feel the same. With this newsletter we would like to inform you that the last tickets have been released for advance sale and that there is a little change to our line-up.
OMNIA unfortunately had to cancel their performance due to private commitments. However, we are able to provide you with a worthy replacer: GODEX, a new Gothic-Rock band that is reminiscent of THE 69EYES and HIM. We strongly recommend their latest album „Lovesick“ and look forward to a great show.
Those of you who do not hold a ticket for this year’s Blackfield Festival should not hesitate too long- 2/3 of the tickets have already been sold. Advance sale is booming because visitors get 3 full festival days instead of 2 for the same price –and we are once again hoping to sell out soon. Our line up tells its own tale: AND ONE, the pioneers of electronic music will give their last ever life performance at the Blackfield Festival whereas SAMSAS TRAUM will celebrate their comeback and promise you an exclusive show. BLUTENGEL will headline on Friday which means that you can enjoy their spectacular show in the dark. NEUROTICFISH have also come back in 2013 and their new songs leave nothing to be desired and could even convince the critics on the spot. Furthermore, exceptional acts such as EISBRECHER, MONO INC., DEATHSTARS and PROJECT PITCHFORK will also make the hearts of all lovers of our music beat harder.
