An old proverb says: „a rolling stone gathers no moss"! For next year the E-tropolis Festival will change the venue and therefore re-launch on 22nd February 2014 at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen.
"Darker – harder – louder" than the rest, the E-tropolis Festival, formerly carried out in Berlin, stands for excellent electro-sound since 2010. Its broad variety captures the dark facets of electronic music, masterfully condensed into a massive live-event. Of course we remain faithful to the custom of presenting 15 of the scene´s most popular acts along with an additional party-floor and 5 DJs! And the best thing about all this: a major part of the line-up shall be announced right now!
FIRST BAND ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL 2014
It´s out of question, when it comes to transforming a concert-hall into a full-grown madhouse APOPTYGMA BERZERK always prove to be a massive force of nature! Especially attendees of last year´s Amphi Festival can tell a fine story for sure after celebrating this legendary show the Norwegians around mastermind Stephan Groth performed that night. With maximum steam-pressure, we can´t wait to witness APOPTYGMA BERZERK, literally instigating „Non-stop violence – until the end of the world" in Oberhausen.
With the E-tropolis Festival having been moved to the former power-house of the German steel industry, who could be a more appropriate choice to stoke the fire of the big engine if not the band who created a milestone for the industrial scene in 1981 by composing a complete "Stahlwerksinfonie": DIE KRUPPS. After over three decades of inspiring the EBM- and industrial-scene, the legendary band from Düsseldorf returned in January 2013 with their brand-new EP "Risikofaktor". At the E-tropolis Festival 2014 they will perform what they know best: "Metal Machine Music" – full force ahead, without compromise!
Meanwhile another great act lined up to share some hot Mexican temper with Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam alias HOCICO. On the road for 20 years as well and still at full blast HOCICO shall surge you with a heart-racing adrenaline kick on the dance-floor until the last minute.
Together with AESTHETIC PERFECTION, FADERHEAD, TYSKE LUDDER, XOTOX, CHROM and [X]-RX, who will also play at the fourth edition of the E-tropolis Festival, the Turbinenhalle is already looking at an excellent line-up, waiting for another 6 bands and 5 DJs, still to come.

Also 5+1 group tickets will be available only from us (and for a limited time). Furthermore E-tropolis tickets (computer prints) are also available at all nationwide EVENTIM box offices!
