METALFEST taking place at beautiful Loreley is able to announce more bands confirmed. German medieval success Rockers IN EXTREMO will be another headliner at the festival, Eluveitie, Brainstorm and Winterstorm some more high class programme. From 19. until 21. June the festival will open it s doors and promises an excellent line up therefore. With SABATON, KREATOR, SALTATIO MORTIS as well as POWERWOLF some big names have been confirmed for a couple of weeks already. Now IN EXTREMO can be announced.
They are among Germany ´s most successful acts. For years their albums have been charting no 1 or 2 and their mixture between medieval instruments and catchy Rock songs makes them unique. But the best is yet to come: no other band seems to fit more perfectly to this famous location next to the river Rhein: their singer even is calles Micha Rhein...
Swiss Folk Rockers Eluveitie can hardly be missed at any festival for guaranteeing a good mood. Their fresh Kombination of Heavy Metal and old Folk-sounds not only invites for dancing, it even forces you to do so. With Winterstorm and Brainstorm, the two German Metal storms, you can fully headband. Once dark and in the case of Brainstorm Power Metal pure surely no neck will be bored.
Whilst other festivals will offer you the usual combination of headbanging, beer and camping, METALFEST LORELEY turned into the ideal happening for more sophisticated demands: the dreamy Rhein Valley background will replace any 3-star holidays in the sun, and the atmosphere here is simply completely different from any other metal festival – more relaxed, friendly and stress-free. It's for a good reason that whole headbanger families of all ages love to attend the METALFEST LORELEY. And: it's basically a must to check out the fantastic surroundings of the festival area.
