florenceandthemachine2015On her first concerts, FLORENCE WELCH solely performed on stage with an E-guitar and another drummer. Those lucky enough to attend one of these shows already spotted the artistic qualities of this wild but graceful lady – at the latest when she jumped off the stage, singing ‘Kiss With A Fist’, the early hit that carries its impact in its name. No sooner than her epic debut ‘Lungs’ including the singles ‘Dog Days Are Over’ and ‘You’ve Got The Love’ had been released even she realized: FLORENCE + THE MACHINE belong with really big shows to really big stages. And on these she has been playing for years now, managing the balancing act between Grandezza and closeness, between authenticity an glamour-pop.

She has just released her latest album ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ and again she was really slow to do so. But the successor to the second chapter ‘Ceremonials’ was worth every damn day of waiting. Every song a hits the bull’s eye, every line a poem, every sung word a benefaction for your soul – starting with ‘Ship To Wreck’, sailing on guitars inspired by THE SMITHS, the single ‘What Kind Of Man’ with its chorus for eternity, to the vigorous ‘Mother’, that brings the album to an end spectacularly.

During the next weeks, FLORENCE + THE MACHINE is playing several shows on European and German festivals; in December the Arena tour is following and this will probably be a massive spectacle. And here are the German dates:
13th Dec 2015 Berlin – Velodrom
14th Dec 2015 Hamburg – Barclaycard Arena
16th Dec 2015 München – Olympiahalle
18th Dec 2015 Düsseldorf – Mitsubishi-Electric Halle
The tour is presented by Rolling Stone.

Ticket sales for the tour start on Friday, 26th June 2015 at 11 pm. Tickets are available from 36.00€ to 46.00 € plus extra charge and 1.00€ for “Kids Company” on www.tickets.de. Tickets are limited to six tickets per show.
