meraluna2017 logoThis band is the gloomy voice of a whole generation: KORN is coming to the M'era Luna Festival in 2017. The crossover legends from California are, of course, not alone: the organizer FKP Scorpio completes the line-up of the festival on 12 and 13 August In Hildesheim-Drispenstedt with other big names from the black scene.

With their brutal but always precise sound, the five men of KORN have found their own sound somewhere between Metal and Industrial. But their music is legendary not only because of the drifting, tightly intertwined rhythms and the homely guitar walls: KORN has always been the provocative voice of those who feel forgotten by society. The band, which has been celebrating regular chart successes since its founding in 1993, has not only become an icon for fans worldwide. BLUTENGEL sounds definitely gentler, but not less intense: Mastermind Chris Pohl creates complexly arranged Gothic Pop, ranging from Synth Pop to Goth Rock. LEAETHER STRIP from Denmark is also experimenting with electronic sounds: the result is dark, hypnotic, and always danceable Electronic Body Music, which since 1988, especially in Germany, has found numerous supporters.

But this is not enough: The White-Russian duo AMBASSADOR21, which does not compromise with his furious industrial hardcore, was also confirmed. Also SCHWARZER ENGEL cannot be confused and confronts Dark Metal with ever new influences. THE ARCH, on the other hand, deliver mature Electro Wave, while JOHNNY DEATHSHADOW are dedicated to Industrial Metal. The line-up is finally completed by DEAR STRANGE with New Wave, which goes new twisted ways.
