wfest2019It doesn’t happen often that an organization already announces the almost complete line-up of next year during this year’s edition. W-Fest is delightful exemption on that rule and is also quite unique from several other perspectives. Last August, this Belgian 80s/ New Wave/ EBM / Synth Pop Festival (with full camping) attracted over 30,000 fans during a successful 3rd edition and also the upcoming edition 2019 promises a great line-up with fantastic bands from the Synth Pop and Wave genres.

Now, we from Reflections of Darkness think it is a good idea to introduce you our highlight per day and additionally one band from the whole line-up we are extremely looking forward to seeing at the W-Fest stage. Nik Kershaw (GB)

NIK KERSHAW is an English singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Kershaw came to prominence in the mid -980s as a solo artist, releasing eight singles that entered the Top 40 charts in the UK during the 1980s. His 62 weeks on the UK Singles Chart through 1984 and 1985 beat all other solo artists. Kershaw appeared at the dual-venue concert Live Aid in 1985 and has also penned a number of hits for other artists, including a UK number-one single in 1991 for Chesney Hawkes, ‘The One and Only’. Kershaw said that Elton John described him as “the greatest songwriter of a generation.”
