Timetable for Graspop Metal Meeting 2007 now available!
It’s been a long time in the making but the definitive timetable for GMM 2007 has been posted on the Graspop site! It’s been a hectic few weeks making the final adjustments to the lineup. We had to reshuffle the timetable somewhat due to Velvet Revolver cancelling their European tour and Dragonlord’s cancellation last week. ‘Why not replace Velvet Revolver with Machine Head?’ I hear you say. Well, negotiations with Machine Head were initiated as soon as preparations for the 2007 edition started, but the band is not available due to personal circumstances.

Belphegor has been added to the line-up for Friday and Cynic will be playing on Sunday!

Crowdsurfing prohibited at GMM!
As of this year, crowdsurfing will no longer be tolerated at Graspop Metal Meeting! We realise this runs counter to age-old metal traditions and crowdsurfing has always been an integral part of the GMM ex perience in the past. However, daily attendance figures are expected to reach the 35,000 mark, making this security measure absolutely indispensable if we are to guarantee fan safety. Moreover, the lion’s share of our festivalgoers do not enjoy being kicked in the neck by army boots. They prefer to follow proceedings in a somewhat more comfortable manner.
Crowd surfers who wind up in the frontstage area will be escorted out and their arm will be marked with a cross. If you hadn’t had enough by then, that’s fine by us but keep in mind you may well be denied further access to the festival grounds.

Tickets are still available via the usual sales outlets. For more information, go to www.graspop.be
!! Tickets reserved via Proximus Go for Music and for which payment is registered after 31 May 2007, can no longer be forwarded via registered mail. Holders of such tickets will not be entitled to free public transport (outward journey NMBS and shuttle service De Lijn) to the festival grounds.
