Musically and with an extraordinary stage show, the electronic band ELEGANT MACHINERY will impress the festival fans.
The bands in brief:
UNHEILIG will release their new album ‘Puppenspiel’ in 2008. It’s a sincere, honest and straight album that combines bass, beat and guitar driven songs and breathtaking, emotional ballads. Over all those things like the different lyrical and musical elements, which never get caught in a corset of practicability stands the distinctive voice of the count and adds the definite and unique note to the album. Curtains up! The count as a master of puppetry digs again in the human abysses. Everything’s about the topics “Good & Evil”, “Heaven & Hell” and the romanticising of the 19th Century.
SALTATIO MORTIS are well-known as the likeable medieval rockers from close to Mannheim. Their motto “Those who dance don’t die”. Because of the retirement of three long time fellows SALTATIO MORTIS experienced their first change in line-up in their 7 years long career. But there are no traces of a mood of crisis or sign of a break-up. Strengthened with new talented and motivated fellows SALTATIO MORTIS are at the start again in 2008 – ‘From the Ashes’. With a new album that leaves no doubt: Medieval rocks as ever.
In the year 1988 Richard Johansson and Leslie Bayne decide - influenced by bands like DEPECHE MODE, YAZOO, HUMAN LEAGE, RATIONAL YOUTH and ROBERT MALOW - to found the band ELEGANT MACHINERY. With the aim to make electronic music like it was made during the early 80s, they began to collect several songs. But the band didn’t stand under a lucky start from the very beginning. Many ups and downs accompanied their musical career. Now ELEGANT MACHINERY are ready for the next round with new songs and a new label.
ORDO ROSARIUS EQUILIBRIO was founded in May 1993 by Tomas Petterson and the female singer Rose-Marie Larsen. The two musical talents result in a perfect duo and in their songs they deal with topics like: Light and Dark, Life and Death, Man and Woman, Love and Hate as well as War and Piece. Their apocalyptic pop fits perfectly to the dark M’era Luna Stage 2008.
