New Band confirmation: Diary of Dreams
Enigmatic, danceable and emotional. Our newest addition is anything but a blank sheet for Amphi adepts. Just returned from their Germany Tour DIARY OF DREAMS confirmed their participation at the IV. Amphi Festival and will turn a new page of the DIARY OF DREAMS on Sunday, 20th July 2008 as top act on the theatre stage.
Once resident in the Dark Wave Genre, DIARY OF DREAMS developed their own style over the years, which they perfected further with the most recent album “Nekrolog 43”. Gloomy, intense and full of fascinating secrets, the works of mastermind Adrian Hates receive worldwide credit. Whether in Moscow, Washington, Rome or Cape town, DIARY OF DREAMS stirs their fans all around the globe and in July 2008, they will cast a spell over the Amphi audience for the second time.
The Hosts of the Amphi Festival 2008
While others are still looking for a new voice, the Amphi Festival already found its hosts. After his perfect debut at the Amphi 2007, no one less than HONEY (WELLE:ERDBALL) will enter the ring for you again to guide you through the programme with musical knowledge and a dry sense of humour. He will get support from the FUNKER VOGT “Drill Sergeant” Jens Kästel, who will surely rush you off the feet with his host debut.
Gothic-Family.net on the Amphi 2008
Present ever since the first Amphi Festival and meanwhile grown up to one of the most popular institutions in the frame programme of the festival, we’re happy to welcome Germanys biggest gothic family network ‘Gothic-Family.Net” once again at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne.
“Gothic-Family.Net loves the Amphi Festival!” Therefore we’re of course in on it again this year with a big stall, a parent-child area (i.e. Play & diaper corner) several campaigns and our very popular familiar signing sessions. No other event in this region is that much child-friendly from its organisation and area. One can have fun at the festival and have children thereby - In an acceptable distance to the stage of course. (Ear muffs are available at our stall). There’ll also be free play and draw offerings for the children as well as washable tattoos as required. Right next to the stall is a small playground and a big meadow.
For the grown-ups (Not only parents of course) there’ll be information’s and photos of several campaigns, our stall will again provide an abundant supply of Shirts, Badges, Buttons and many more. Not to forget our legendary lottery without rivets and great prices from our partner shops. A sitting accommodation provides the perfect opportunity fro a meeting with other families respectively a place to rest. Gothic-Family.Net celebrates its 5th anniversary this year. Therefore we will think of some more special highlights for the Amphi Festival. There will also be a few events on our own initiative this year.
Regular Gothic/Medieval flea markets (13th April 2008) as well as an own small gothic family festival in cooperation with the event castle PULP!
