The ring rockers exceeded all expectations. Already in mid March the fans of Germany’s most popular rock festival saved all 85.000 tickets. Completely SOLD OUT, the booking offices announced for Rock am Ring nearly 3 months prior to the Open Air of the Year. Simultaneously, the acceptance for the parallel festival Rock im Park increases, where the exact same program with METALLICA, DIE TOTEN HOSEN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE as absolute headliners is provided. More than 42.500 tickets for the Zeppelin field such a long time before the festival show, that also Rock im Park will surpass the record result of the last year.
The organizers of Rock im Park are simply overwhelmed by the increasing feedback beforehand and want to say thank you for the growing trust of the fans, acknowledging the musical program as well as the festival conception with their enthusiasm.
In the meantime 78 of 90 bands are fixed which will perform on 3 stages from 6th to 8th June at the Nürburgring and in Nürnberg. New additions to the sensational line-up are amongst others: THE OFFSPRING, MANIC STREET PREACHERS, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL and PARAMORE.
