Looking out of the window just proves: summer time has come so let the festival season begin. Meanwhile we have completed our billing as you can see down below and we are intrigued to see what the SUMMER BREEZE 2008 will bring not only on stage but also off stage and around the shows as such.
But today it is up to you as today is the start off for our newcomer competition known as the Newcomer Stage! At http://www.newcomer-stage.de/ you will find 20 bands you have to estimate. Voting can be done until May, 25th. You need to be registered in our SUMMER BREEZE community and estimate all of these bands on only then your voting can be counted! The top 5 and the winners of the EMP Rock Challenge will compete on the party stage on Wednesday, 13th of August starting at 04.00 pm. The winner will officially open up the SUMMER BREEZE on the Main Stage the day after!
ROCK ALARM! the new rock community will this year be putting on the ROCK CHALLENGE 2008. Bands without a deal can sign up for the online band contest at www.rockalarm.de until May, 14th. Just have a song or video ready. Their destiny will then be in hands of the ROCK ALARM! community. The ROCK ALARM! heroes will be getting a wildcard for the Newcomer Stage. No surprise the ticket sales are getting into top gear. There still are tickets left. At http://www.summer-breeze.de/ these sought after tickets can be purchased for 60,- EUR incl. Camping, parking and bus shuttle to Dinkelsbuehl. Don't forget, the early bird...

In case you don't know how to get to the SUMMER BREEZE: BOCK TOURS (www.bock-tours.de) arrange quite some tours to the festival.
Unfortunately we again have to refer to the strict glass prohibition on the entire glass and camping ground. Also this year we will do car checks to implement this prohibition. A few undiscerning people force us to. It's abit of a shame as otherwise we could cut down your travelling time and you could access the camping ground way quicker.
