The time is almost right. Only two days and it’s finally “On your marks, get set, Rock” again at the II. Zita Rock Festival on 31st May 2008 in Berlin. As of Saturday 1:00 PM, the motto is “daily routine out, festival in”; carried by concentrated rock power and pure Open Air feeling in the middle of the unique scenery of the citadel Spandau with the top acts of the Gothic-, Folk- and Industrial Rock with SUBWAY TO SALLY, ASP, UNHEILIG, DREADFUL SHADOWS, EISBRECHER, ZEROMANCER and DOWN BELOW. Seven acts for a Hallelujah no rock fan should miss. Before those seven can start together with you, we collected some important information.
1. Box Offices & Festival tickets
As promised, there’ll be enough festival tickets available right at the location. For all the spontaneous people and those who still look for a ticket, we keep the box office open from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You’ll get the festival tickets there for a price of 40, - EUR but also in the presale are still some tickets left at the booking offices of Ticket Online, Kartenhaus and CTS/Eventim.
2. Optimized Running Order
As some of you still have to work on Saturday or come from far away, we refined the running order a bit with shortened reconstruction breaks retaining the playing time, we managed to buy all foreign visitors another hour for their arrival. The running order is now as follows:
1:00 PM - DOORS OPEN
3:05 PM – 3:35 PM DOWN BELOW
3:50 PM – 4:30 PM ZEROMANCER
4:45 PM – 5:25 PM EISBRECHER
5:40 PM – 6:20 PM DREADFUL SHADOWS
6:40 PM – 7:30 PM UNHEILIG
7:50 PM – 8:45 PM ASP
9:15 PM – 10:25 PM SUBWAY TO SALLY
3. Aftershowparty
As soon as the curtain falls on the big Open Air stage, the big “Zita Rock Aftershowparty” starts on the grounds of the citadel. “DJ Murmel” and “DJ Angel in Bondage” expect you at the “Bastion Königin” which will provide for a hot summer night with a mix of Gothic, Wave, Medieval, Electro, 80s and Rock.
Speaking of the summer; the weatherman’s foretelling best festival weather for the weekend with sunshine and summer temperatures. With such prospects, the festival is as twice as much fun when your bands turn their amps to the max and treat their guitars.
