Bands and musicians, listen up! Battle Of The Bands, the biggest and most important newcomer contest of the dark music scene, is becoming even harder and more attractive. In cooperation with the label Out Of Line and the agency Hardbeat Promotion, Sonic Seducer will be searching for the hottest acts without a recording deal. This year’s top prize will be a recording deal with Out Of Line. This means: you will be label mates with Combichrist, Blutengel, Hocico, And One & co. And it gets even better, as Hardbeat promotion will be supporting the debut release with a comprehensive distribution of promos to all major DJs, internet radios and DAC-tippers, making this the ultimate opportunity for a rocketing career in the music scene.

To top things off, you will also be able to win instruments, software and helpful studio tools. Prerequisites for taking part are that you are not bound to any label or commercial distributor and that you are not a member of a collecting society, such as the GEMA. You cannot apply with cover versions or songs that you did not write yourself. Stylistically, you should be categorizable somewhere within the wide field of  Gothic, Electro, Industrial, Dark Rock, Metal and alternative and you should sport a professional sound. Only the 30 best and most promising applicants will be selected for the final round. The finalists will be determined through a voting of the readers of Sonic Seducer and through the verdict of an expert jury recruited from the music business. Please send your demo disc with at least three songs, a short biography, contact info and photos to:
