Released August 24 It all started in 2002 when Michigan won the national music contest Quest for Fame, first prize being a record deal with Memento Materia. Today Michigan is a well established band on the European electropop scene with two high quality pop albums in their backpack (“Graceful and in Sin” and “Ultimate Sky”).
August 24 Memento Materia/Infacted/A Different Drum release “The Nomad” – the first single from Michigan’s third album “Pulse of Pain”, to be released in November.
Single and video
“The Nomad” is a great pop tune with a beautiful and catchy refrain. The single presents you with five mixes of the title track – a radio edit together with remixes signed Frozen Plasma, Iris, Code 64 and the band themselves – together with the exclusive track “The Sirens Sounds”. The band also made their first music video ever this summer in their hometown Motala. The video will be available on Youtube, Myspace, Label home-pages and on various DVD collections released this autumn. Make sure to check it out!
German Tour
Michigan has a great fan base in Scandinavia and Germany. This autumn the band joins De/Vision on their German tour – 14 concerts starting in Erfurt September 22 and ending in Berlin October 8.
