Bobby made their debut in 2003 with the album ”Romantic and Bleeding”. A release presenting us with hit songs like ”Sooner or Later”, ”Tonight Let’s Show The World” and ”Losing Control”. You could hear Bobby on Swedish radio, watch them on Swedish TV and they toured their home country several times. Then Bobby was quiet for a while, until this autumn when Memento Materia released “The Ghost of You Remains”, the first single from Bobby’s upcoming album “Thursday in this Universe”.

”The Ghost of You Remains”, supported by a beautiful music video recorded at the haunted Hotell Stenkullen, were loved by fans and press. Jonaz Björn [zeromagazine.nu] wrote that: ”’The Ghost of You Remains’ is a great pop tune, much better than much of the music we hear on radio today ...This sounds very promising when thinking about the upcoming album.” We are sure it will feel even more promising when you have listened to Bobby’s upcoming single.

Autumn Never Leaves

”Autumn Never Leaves” is a fantastic pop tune produced by Andreas Dahlbäck (Eskobar, Anna Ternheim etc.). An atmospheric, almost vulnerable verse slowly evolving into a beautiful and vivid refrain. The single is accompanied by a professional video directed by Robinovich. Check out the video here!

To call this release a single is a bit misleading. The radio version of “Autumn Never Leaves” is so strong that extra remixes feel unnecessary. Instead Bobby presents you with two exclusive tracks - Sayonara” and ”Swimming with Sharks” – together with a dance floor remix of the album track ”Dancing in Los Angeles” (courtesy Carl Hammar of Daybehavior) to be able to offer a comprehensive release to their fans.

”Autumn Never Leaves” is proof of Bobby’s tremendous versatility and ability to create great pop tunes. The vibrant track ”Autumn Never Leaves”, recorded with live strings, disarms you totally. Then you are presented with three tracks – all with their individual character – everything from 80’s electro pop to modern pop – where Bobby’s ability to create beautiful pop music is the strong foundation everything stands on.

”Autumn Never Leaves” is a great taste of what is to come on the album ”Thursday in this Universe” due to be released in March 2008.
