Kataklysm - “A Moment In Time: Shadows & Dust vs. Serenity in Fire” 25th Anniversary Tour - Support: Graveworm
The Canadian hyper blaster KATAKLYSM will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2017. On the occasion of this anniversary, the band will play special concerts and bring their classic albums ‘Shadows & Dust’ and ‘Serenity In Fire’ to full length on the stages of Europe.
The band comments: “It's hard to believe it's been 25 years , it feels like it was yesterday that we were rebellious high school students and founded a band called KATAKLYSM. Considering what we've been through, the band is still very good, but if you really think about it, then a few words can summarize everything: perseverance, strength, conviction and honesty - these were and still are the key elements For KATAKLYSM's success as well as the tried and tested killer anthems!
We used this moment to pause and reflect and came to the conclusion that we should celebrate this event. Not many bands are still successful after a 25-year career. We also noticed that one of our breakthroughs, ‘Shadows & Dust’, is 15 years old in 2017. How could we thank our fans better than to return to this classic album and its successor album ‘Serenity In Fire’, two milestones in KATAKLYSM's still well-running career? Finally, we decided to make a special event, to play in selected cities, and the idea of a tour called ‘A Moment In Time: Shadows & Dust vs. Serenity In Fire’ was brought to life.”
KATAKLYSM will offer both full-length albums and a brand new stage show, which will be adapted to the two albums. They have invited their old friends GRAVEWORM from Italy as the supporters for these special shows. GRAVEWORM already supported KATAKLYSM on ‘Shadows & Dust’ and ‘Serenity In Fire’ in Europe and the USA. We are tremendously looking forward to this tour.
