An Evening with Brian Fallon - “Songs from the Hymnal” Tour 2019
Four concerts in Germany! That’s special enough, but now it’s time to get started with the peculiarities… he will play solo. And: purely acoustic! “I’m very excited to be able to come back over and do these solo acoustic and piano shows. Many songs and many stories!’
And Brian Fallon can tell stories… anyone who saw one of the many concerts he gave as frontman of THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM knows about this fact. A fantastic musician, a great singer and: He is one who really has something to say, something to share. A ramp-roadrunner, a storyteller, a solo. His setlist? The story goes, mostly from songs by ‘Painkillers’ and - the album has been released this year - from ‘Sleepwalkers’, his two solo albums. But he’s sure to have a couple of pieces of TGA ready as well, and some of them are already known to be beaming away - some cover versions of... still secret.
Brian Fallon is the head of THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM; his main band is currently pausing, he was now on the road with THE HOWLING WEATHER, his backing band, and he’s also a member of MOLLY & THE ZOMBIES. Fallon’s style: timeless. Rock’n’Roll combined with British Invasion Rock and UK Punk of the first generation, also with American Pop and neat Soul, the whole thing spiced with some Americana... He has his ears everywhere and can remodel things he experienced into an own languages… he can just write songs.
This evening with BRIAN FALLON will be becoming a very special concert, it will be a highlight so early in the year.
