MOLCHAT DOMA conquered the worldwide stages and underground scene in an overwhelming way. The band from Minsk, Belarus, puts many layers of emotions into their signature sound mixture between Post Punk, New Wave and a dark hint of Goth. With their Russian lyrics they are internationally outstanding. Thousands and thousands of sold long-players and more than two million listeners just alone on Spotify show that they hit the nerve of the time.
The music that kind of mixes 80s Perestroika era influences with modern world attitudes and themes is an original. The concerts are full of dancing people who forget the world outside for some moments to escape its reality. Raw, real and dancy music combined with hypnotic vocals and dystopian lyrics. We’ve been lucky to see them live in March 2020 just before the world went upside-down (Review) and celebrate one last time and are looking forward to see MOLCHAT DOMA again when the cultural world is finally able to get back to life.
