HOCICO
Hocico barely need an introduction anymore; the Mexican duo consisting of Erk Aicrag (lyrics, vocals) and Racso Agroyam (Programming) is highly appreciated worldwide. Mexico’s pride combines aggression with pumping beats and provoking lyrics, clearly representing the dark side of Electro Body Music. The aggressive live show is the absolute main event of the Out of Line festival.
 
SPETSNAZ
Intense and energetic, screaming vocals and hard-hitting beats: these words are best suited to describe the live experience of the Swedish EBM duo Spetsnaz. Founded in 2001 by Stefan Nilsson and Pontus Stålberg, the old-school inspired EBM of Spetsnaz is both aggressive and melodic. By the end of the year, the new CD ‘Deadpan’ will be released, of which we will undoubtedly receive some previews at the Out of Line festival. Hard dancing guaranteed!
 
ASHBURY HEIGHTS
Out of Line was so excited by the music of this band, that they signed them only an hour after the first hearing. The debut album has only just appeared (Oct 5th), so they are fresher than fresh. Only 24 and 18 years old, Anders and Yasmine Ashbury have found a unique sound already: glamorous, sexy, danceable, chic, fantastic, with a lot of coolness and a little bit of madness. It promises to be appealing to the eye as well as to the body; and at this moment definitely appealing to curiosity.
 
PROCEED
The powerful EBM/electro of Proceed is influenced by all types of electronic music, creating their own unique synthesis between old and new and indeed a new type of sound. Formed in 1999 by Andre S. and Daniel P., Proceed have released their debut album ‘Neusprache’ in 2004 and the second album ‘Laut’ has been released this year. Uncompromising beats, loud music and an energetic stage presence make Proceed¹s presence at the Out of Line festival absolutely worth checking out.
 
DIN[A]TOD
If you think this name is complicated and confusing, then you understand what DIN [A} TOD is about. The Berlin band consisting of Sven, Claudia and Phelix, philosophically synthesizes the power of music with the power of symbols: “it can invigorate, fascinate and cause upheaval”, so states singer Sven. The musical experiments of the trio range from catchy to complex, synthetic and intelligent at the same time. Presenting their debut album ‘The Sound of Crash’, DIN [A] TOD are to show that avoiding stylistic repetition and club suitability do not necessarily exclude each other!
