But the exceptional thing about the Blackfield is - besides its top class line-up - also the motto of the organizer “From the scene, for the scene” that makes this concert event so matchless. The doers want to feed fresh blood into the scene spirit again, which is constantly decreasing for years now. The Blackfield Festival stands for an event with a 100% reference to the scene. Here are people behind the scenes, who are actively participating in the built-up of many acts for years and now assemble them in an adequate frame. It was important to the organizers during the planning of the festivals that the audience is able to experience all performing acts (There will be no overlaps because there’s only one Main Stage). Everywhere in the great location of the Amphi theatre in Gelsenkirchen there is an optimal view on the event. The Beverages / Food prices are fair and decent. There are many services (Bus Shuttle from several German cities, setup of the tent and so on).

Because of this, many performing artist immediately agreed to the attendance and partially present an exclusive program, you can only experience at the Blackfield Festival. Furthermore there are special and unique live sets of THE CRÜXSHADOWS (Sole Open Air in Germany 2008), CATASTROPHE BALLET (Anniversary Show with many guests) and the new project of ZERAPHINE singer Sven Friedrich SOLAR FAKE to experience. The absolute highlight of the festival will surely be NITZER EBB, who are guarantors for energetic live shows, since their acclaimed reunion. The fans can especially look forward to the first-time live presentation of the new songs from the upcoming album of this trend-setting cult band, which will be released in autumn.
