FARIN URLAUB, currently on tour as the singer of the famous German band DIE ÄRZTE, will go on tour again with his solo project FARIN URLAUB RACING TEAM in November. In 2001, URLAUB started his solo career with the album ‘Endlich Urlaub!’, the second album ‘Am Ende der Sonne’ was released in 2005 and his latest album, ‘Live album of Death’, hit the stores on February 3rd 2006. Most likely another solo album will be released in future, maybe in summer or autumn followed by a tour.

The tour will start on 20th November in Düsseldorf, Germany and consists of yet 17 shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the show in Berlin already is sold out. The FARIN URLAUB RACING TEAM, the band joining Farin on stage, usually consists of CINDIA KNOKE (Bass), NESRIN SIRINOGLU (guitar), RACHEL REP (drums), SIMONE RICHTER, ANNETTE STEINKAMP, CELINA BOSTIC, VANESSA MASON (all vocal & percussion), HANS-JÖRG FISCHER (Saxophone), PETER QUINTERN (Saxophone), HARDY APPICH (trumpet) and ROB SOLOMON (trombone). On 25th November, the band will rock the stage in Münster.
