It was just one week ago that PARADISE LOST released their new DVD ‘The Anatomy of Melancholy’. But that wasn’t just an ordinary release for this band which is known to be the creator of a whole new genre: The Gothic Metal, a mixture which appeared for the first time on the album ‘Gothic’ in 1991. Since then a lot of time has passed and a lot of albums have been released, culminating up to the release of their eleventh album ‘In Requiem’ back in 2007. I fear I’m getting a bit Off-Topic right now… As mentioned before this was no ordinary release for the band, it was a gift to the fans to celebrate their 20th anniversary and for this special occasion, the band will play a few hand selected anniversary shows in Europe. The last of those three concerts has just been confirmed and will take place at the Kulturfabrik in Krefeld in mid September.

The support slot will be occupied by the British rockers of ANATHEMA, who are currently recording the first of two albums, they plan to release this year. As this is the only German PARADISE LOST concert this year, you should order your tickets swiftly to be in on this very special event.
