Nikolaikirche, Dortmund, Germany
13th December 2008
Moya Brennan

Ever since her world hit‚ ‘Only Time’ the Irish artist ENYA has reached cult status, but the shy ENYA who’s barely performing live, is not the only person in her family who knows how to bring the music of the “New Age” movement near to a wider audience, as her sister MOYA BRENNAN excites her audience for years with her melodic, catchy and meditative music. MOYA BRENNAN is the heart of a couple of wonderful albums. For many years she enjoys her role as voice of CLANNAD, one of Ireland’s most respected bands and works simultaneously on her successful solo career. Her music is used in international film scores, spiritual recordings, various TV series and even dancing anthems.

Her status as a singer’s icon is undisputed as the American president wouldn’t invite her to play on the Capitol Hill for no reason. Besides, she performed two times at the World Youth Day, last time in 2005 in front of nearly 1 Mio people, during Pope Benedict’s Cologne visit. But not only the world’s religious and political leaders are excited by the beautiful Irish woman, also music stars like PAUL YOUNG, ROBERT PLANT and U2 singer Bono enjoyed working with her. With her current album ‘Signature’ she hits the road again in December 2008 to please Germany with an ‘Irish Christmas Tour’.

In heavenly church atmosphere, she’ll carry away her audience into the world of Irish Christmas music on 13th December 2008 at Dortmund’s Nikolai Church.
