FIDDLERS GREEN

The German Folk-Rock-band FIDDLERS GREEN was founded in 1990. By using traditional instruments like violins, banjos, accordions and mandolins, enjoyment of playing and a constantly rising fan base, they created their special own style, a mixture of Irish folk music, ska, punk and reggae called Irish Speedfolk.

Their latest album ‘Sports Day at Killaloe’ has just been released on 9th January. The 19 songs promise an energetic and playful fireworks of good atmosphere at the upcoming live performances, as FIDDLERS GREEN will be on their ‘Sports Day Tour 2009’ through Germany from January to August. The six musicians are going to introduce ‘Sports Day at Killaloe’ on 18th January in the most famous music club of Frankfurt am Main, the Batschkapp.
