POLARKREIS 18

After they had listened to that song on the radio in autumn 2008, many people called their radio stations and asked which band had been responsible for the catchy melody of ‘Allein Allein’. The answer: POLARKREIS 18 - a young band coming from Dresden, Germany, that has played music together since 1998. They fascinate a whole republic and even other European states (e. g. Denmark) with their sound, a composition of pop, electro, Synth-pop and experimental style.

‘Allein Allein’ from their recent album ‘The Colour of Snow’ shot up into the German Top 10-charts and was chosen as title song of the movie ‘Krabat’. The upcoming second single of the same title, ‘The Colour of Snow’, is going to be released on 13th February, followed by a second tour leg through Germany. On 24th February 2009, they are going to perform at Frankfurt’s famous music club Batschkapp.
