The first festival in Hultsfred festival was arranged in 1986, it was a success back then with 7,500 visitors and since then the festival has grown and become one of Sweden's largest and most popular festivals. 2008 the festival had 23,383 paying visitors (source: www.rockparty.se/festivalinfo/festivalhistorik.aspx).

Through the years the festival was changed in form and dates but one thing is the same and that is that they try to get a lot of different musicians to come and perform at the festival. Rockparty (the organization that is responsible for the festival) has done some changes regarding this year’s festival they have changed month for the festival from June to July and added one more day so now the Hultsfred festival is a 4 day/night festival!

The 4-day passes costs 1490 SEK (approximately 135 euro)
All 4-day passes include tent camping for the whole festival week.
There are also 1-day tickets for Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th.
The 1-day passes costs 790 SEK (approximately 72 euro)
