Coldplay
The English Pop-Rock band COLDPLAY founded in 1996 is meanwhile one of the most successful bands worldwide of the last ten years. It consists of singer Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland (lead guitar, background vocals), Will Champion (drums, percussion, background vocals) and Guy Berryman (E-bass, keyboard, background vocals).
Their most successful album up to now is ‘Viva la Vida’, published on 13th of June 2008. It differs stylistically completely from his predecessors. This year, they received three Grammies for it: "Song of the year" - ‘Viva la Vida’, "Best pop performance" and "Best rock album" and an echo for “best group international”. Last year they began their successful Viva-la-Vida-Tour which led them into numerous countries of the world. Among them, they also gave five hall concerts in Germany.
Now there are three additional Open-air concerts in Germany, namely in Hannover, Düsseldorf and Munich! However, the concert in Munich is already sold out! But the happy who have a ticket may be curious...
