The Medieval-Folk-Rock-Band SCHANDMAUL, founded in 1998 and originating from Munich, consists topically of singer Thomas Lindner (acoustic guitar, piano, accordion), Anna Katharina Kränzlein (violin, hurdy-gurdy), Stefan Brunner (drums, percussion, fanfare), Martin Christoph "Ducky" Duckstein (guitar), Birgit Muggenthaler-Schmack (bagpipes, wind instruments) and Matthias "Hiasl" Richter (E bass, contrabass). On the 04th of April, 2008 they published their album ‘Anderswelt’ which reached place eight of the German album charts. This was their best position in the charts up to now.

Their “Anderswelt Tour” leads SCHANDMAUL to the Burg Trausnitz in Landshut on 30th August 2009. Besides that, as special guests, they have invited the Dresden based rock band LETZTE INSTANZ and ERIC FISH, the singer of the band SUBWAY TO SALLY.
