For years now, PLACEBO are an appearance extraordinaire within the British music scene. Every single of their previous five studio albums sold over a million copies, incredible 18 singles could place themselves in the charts. The three-piece continuously evolved artistically. With their very own sound, they’re pending between passionate Alternative Rock, melancholic songs, powerful rhythms and spacey sound experiments. At the same time, the band has establishes themselves as one of the most sustainable live sensations. The current new album ‘Battle for the Sun’ gave the starting single for a readjustment, both musically and personnel-related. German fans will get the chance to see PLACEBO between 9th November and 4th December 2009.
The last show will take place in Cologne’s enormous Lanxess arena and maybe there’ll even be something special about this show before PLACEBO bid Germany farewell.
