“The Nokia Night of the Proms” is a truly unique music event in Europe and for over 15 years excites a constantly growing number of fans. Where the symphonic orchestra IL NOVECENTO and the FINE FLLEUR choir just have intonated classics by Brahms Verdi, Händel or Bach, they’re accompanying legends of Rock and Pop history during their greatest hits together with the electric band of JOHN MILES the next moment. Under the motto “Classic meets Pop”, the organizers prove that classical music also works outside of its typical context, presented in a unique form and supported by a spectacular light show.

Every year anew, this mega event comes up with a line-up you’ve probably never dared dreaming of and which makes countless people buying tickets for the show without even knowing who’ll be on stage which is a definite proof of trust they have in the organizers. They won’t be disappointing them this time around either. After they had to cancel their participation in 2002 due to severe health issues, ROXETTE will now celebrate their live comeback at “Nokia Night of the Proms” in 2009 and one can be already very curious how their biggest hits will sound with the support of an orchestra. Another premier will be celebrated with the first German live show of the electronic pop music veterans of HEAVEN 17 and ALAN PARSONS will give a “taste” of his incredible skills as well. It is strongly recommended to be fast with the ticket buys, because they’re probably selling than a greyhound can run.
