Dinkelsbühl, Germany
19th to 21st August 2010
Summerbreeze Festival

The early metal head catches the fattest band Line-Up… And this has the Summerbreeze Festival 2010. Last Years Line up was always nice, but not including big surprises, but this year everything changes… http://www.summer-breeze.de/

The Festival

SUMMER BREEZE Open Air is about to go into its 13th round, darker and more intensive than ever before. For the fifth time, the breeze will blow in beautiful Dinkelsbühl, Germany from August 19th to 21st, 2010. As usual, this year’s SUMMER BREEZE will take place over three days on two open air stages and an additional Party Tent, where bands will be performing from Wednesday, August 18th. The Party Tent is all days open from 4 p.m. till 4 a.m. for all the restless Metal animals. Main stage and Pain stage are the two big stages. All bands will alternate with no overlapping, so you just need to move a bit to see each band play, just the way you’re used to. They will have a video screen placed right between the Main and the Pain Stage. So if you’re sitting in the beer garden, for a little break you will have the opportunity to enjoy a drink and some food in a comfortable atmosphere and watch the running shows.

Line-Up

The most specific shows in the Line-Up so far are certainly Gwar with their Horror-Fun-Blood Show and Barren Earth on their first Festival Tour ever. Also from Finland come 2010 headliner’s Children of Bodom to make the girls go crazy, and Gorgoroth to spy the black Odem from Norway over you. A lot more are announced in the next weeks, but we’ll keep you informed!

Tickets

Ticket price is 70 Euro including Parking and Camping fee! If you’re fast you can catch a DVD from 2008 that comes with the first 10,000 sold tickets. It’s one of the festival which offers that much for such a cheap price. But before you buy a ticket check the age limit!

Age Limit
The German Law for the Protection of the Youth will apply. This means that no one under the age of 16 years will have access to the festival. People between 16 and 18 years of age are allowed to stay at the festival until midnight. This law is offset as long as you have an adult supervisor with you. We advise that you should have a written confirmation of your parents with you that shows his/her name in order to prove the respective supervisor is officially authorized. The supervisor needs to be able to ID himself! Otherwise and in case of a police control, you may have to leave the site!

Kids
Kids up to the age of 12 have free access to the festival under the supervision of their parents.

Wheelchairs / Handicapped Persons

As in previous years, there will be a special platform including a handicapped accessible toilet for the wheelchair-bound. They have also improved the handicapped camping area where they can also service people who need electricity for various reasons e.g. electric wheelchairs or respirators. In addition, entrance is free for people with a disability of 51% or more and who are reliant to outside help with an ID showing the according stamps and declarations. The free wristband is only available at the site. Simply show your ID as well as your certificate of disability at the VIP check-in by the football court next to the gas station in Sinbronn.

Arrival / Departure

The campsite can be accessed from 10 a.m. Wednesday and has to be cleared by 2 p.m. Sunday. We urge you to refrain from arriving at the site earlier than the opening hours! The daily parking lot will be open from 9 a.m. They will put up signs around the entire Dinkelsbuehl area to guide you to campsite, parking lots and the festival site!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to traffic restrictions, it will be impossible for you to leave the campground by car once you have entered it. This applies from Wednesday until Thursday afternoon. They will have a bus shuttle running between Dinkelsbuehl and the festival area. Apart from Wednesday (from 10 a.m.) and Sunday (from 07 a.m. until 2 p.m.), the shuttle will run between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. between Dinkelsbuehl and the festival site. Make sure to be at the bus stop in good time and allow enough time to get any connections! The shuttle bus will give you a lift to the city centre of Dinkelsbuehl free of charge.
