Rock Hard Festival
Every bigger German rock or metal magazin has it´s own festival. But one of the most known one´s is the Rock Hard Festival in the heart of the Ruhr area in Germany. http://www.rockhardfestival.de/
Location
The festival has a very special location, in the heart of Gelsenkirchen. Easy to reach by car and public transport. It is lying in a huge, green park, very close to a river. The concerts are taking place in an Amphitheater with enough space to headbang, dance or just sit back and drink relaxed your beer. You have a really good chance to see the stage from everywhere in the Amphitheater, wether you sit or stand, and watch the Rock Hard Festival special shows. All bands gonna play on just one stage!

BloodbathThe one and only gig in germay is taking place nowhere else then on the Rock Hard Festival. An exclusiv must for every Death Metal Maniac and swedish Metal Fan!
The Devil´s Blood
The Dutch new-comer band from 2009 is giving you a special, surprise show. Altough it´s secret what´s gonna be special about the show, you can expect masses of blood! Black Metal, based on 3 guitars (!) and a female Leadsinger.
Virgin Steele
Long time, no hear. But they´ll be back with a Classic Metal Set, which is gonna show you world famous guitar riffs and brilliant vocals! For all the younger readers, this is how David DeFeis (all vocals, keyboards, orchestration, synth bass, swords & effects) says about Virgin Steele's music: "From a whisper to a scream, barbaric, romantic, bombastic, yet subtle, grandiose, yet earthy. Nevermore: They´re going to release their new album in 2010 finally and you are better prepared if you gonna see them live again, after a long absence!

Tickets
The festival ticket is 6 Euros more expensive than last year. Due to a higher rent for the amphi theate and higher investments into bands, they had to increase the prices a bit. Beer prices will stay the same!
3-Days-Ticket
Price for a 3-day-ticket (21.-23. Mai 2010) is 65 euros + 10% pre-sale fee = 71.50 euros incl. shipping.
A Campingticket cost 12.50 euros + 10% pre-sale fee = 13.75 euros per person
