Within just a few months SUNTRISE AVENUE from Finland have managed to gain recognition beyond their native, and have started a matchless victory march. With their debut album ‘On the Way to Wonderland’ the band conquered the chart pole positions all over Europe with all in all 500.000 units sold and were certified gold in Germany for instance. The five guys from Helsinki then had their breakthrough with the single ‘Fairytale Gone Bad’ securing them awards as well and becoming one of the most played radio songs with 76 weeks on the airplay charts.
SUNRISE AVENUE rocked the biggest festivals and played sold-out headlining tours with excited fans and critics alike. In May 2009 they already released their second album ‘Popgasm’. The dates which are going to take place this March will present SUNRISE AVENUE stripped down and unplugged, emphasizing the intimate backbone of the songs in their catalogue. Surely an event to remember for everyone!
