dawnofdestiny fearThe Bochum-based power metallers of DAWN OF DESTINY release their new album "F.E.A.R." via Phonotraxx/Soulfood music on March 7th. It is already the second release on the record label founded by AXXIS. The title stands for the abbreviation of the words "Forgotten, Enslaved, Admired, Released". The album is based on a concept story, which focuses on the tragic fate of a young girl. The story tells of a girl who sits in a wheelchair by a car accident caused by her own mother and in addition also lives a tragic life.

DAWN OF DESTINY tell their concept story both musically and lyrically. The four sections of the album vary from the musical mood and offer a highly emotional work. The most sophisticated and versatile work in the band's history so far. The punchy and catchy power-metal of the band has been enriched with demanding passages, substantial parts and pure emotional cinema and transported a comprehensive history not only by lyrics, but also musically. The band presents itself multi-faceted than ever, without losing its style and without having to sacrifice their hit songs.

This is reflected in the choice of the illustrious guest musicians, including Mats Levén (Therion, Candlemass, YngwieMalmsteen) and Jon Oliva (Savatage), who each sang one of the songs. "The guys have played the track "No hope for the healing" for me and I loved it immediately," says SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva. "It is the best song I ever sang a as a guest-singer for another band." DAWN OF DESTINY can offer a profound work that makes musically and compositionally their highlight, and fans of rousing, complex metal albums a la Savatage will certainly be captivated.
