Philippe Carly, one of the greatest photographers of the New Wave era, has just launched a crowd-funding campaign to print his new book ‘At the Plan K - Joy Division & Post-Punk at the Plan K’. JOY DIVISION, the mythical postpunk band led Ian Curtis, gave two legendary concerts at the Plan K, an avant-garde concert and performance venue located in Brussels, in 1979 and 1980.

Philippe Carly was present during the two concerts and his photographs went around the world. Today, 36 years later, he has decided to share these beautiful images in a luxurious book that also contains testimonies of musicians, artists and witnesses who lived there moments of eternity whose vibrations resonate still today. The book will feature all the photos of JOY DIVISION that Philippe took during their two concerts as well as photos taken at more than 70 other concerts. In addition, the book will be enriched by the reproduction of the original iconic posters. The book will be in French and in English.

The financing project allows people to participate by purchasing a wide range of items: it starts with a simple mention in the book (5 EUR), a set of postcards (18 EUR), of course the book (65 EUR), and it continues with a series of exclusive “packages” in limited edition.
