The tour is in support of their debut-album “Vine” that is out since end of September and that was licensed from Cobra Records by Century Media Records for the world outside of Finland.

A month after the release of “Vine” THE MAN-EATING TREE are touring with their fellow finnish act Tarot in Europe and the band is absolutely stoked to play their dark tunes on the European mainland:

"Even though my friends in this band have toured before with other bands this upcoming tour will be the first of its kind - not only for THE MAN-EATING TREE, but also for me. I have been working for a long time to get this kind of opportunity. Now it's here. And it's important. I will be able visit many new places, meet new people and most importantly - I'll get to sing my heart out live. It'll be good. Come see us deliver. All the best, Tuomas."

“Vine” was licensed from Cobra Records for the world outside of Finland and is out since September.

The seed of THE MAN-EATING TREE was planted when drummer Vesa Ranta began to overcome his post-SENTENCED lack of inspiration to play music. The idea of a new band was brainstormed over a period of time between Vesa and his friends, including gentlemen Miika Tenkula, Janne Markus (POISONBLACK, guitars) and Mikko Uusimaa (bass).

The fall is the perfect time of the year when leaves turn golden, bronze and red, when the days turn shorter and you just feel like curling up in front of a cosy fireplace while the shadows of the winter start to crawl up at night. It is the perfect time of the year for THE MAN-EATING TREE’s atmospheric metal.
