Fleetwood Mac

THE ONLY CONCERT IN NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA! FLEETWOOD MAC, icons of Rock as well as one of the steadiest, most popular and most successful Rock bands in the world, will come to Germany for three concerts after four years of silence. The FLEETWOOD MAC arena tour will stop on 6th of October in Cologne, on 14th of October in Stuttgart as well on 16th of October in Berlin.

FLEETWOOD MAC live 2013 also means the 35th anniversary of the release of the century album 'Rumours', published in February1977. ‘Rumours’ was sold until this day more than 40 million times and was distinguished in 1978 with a Grammy in the category "Album Of The Year". Songs like ‘Go Your Own Way’, ‘Don't stop’ and ‘Dreams’ are still hits in the music scene and are just a few proofs that FLEETWOOD MAC belong to the big legends of rock history and this is underlined by the membership of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. For the 35th jubilee of this unusual album, Rhino Records put together an opulently equipped issue of ‘Rumours’ which was released on 25th of January 2013 and has special bonus material. It contains up to now unpublished live admissions of the big world tour in 1977 and a whole series of session-out-takes from the ‘Rumours’ recordings. Not only for the biggest FLEETWOOD MAC fans an absolutely must have item!

The line-up of FLEETWOOD MAC is at the moment Mick Fleetwood and John McVie who are both from the original line up in 1967, as well as Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nick who joined the band in 1975. “I have brought FLEETWOOD MAC to life with John McVie in 1967 and it is so amazing that this band is still alive. However a constant in all these years were always: Our fans. I just can't wait to sit behind my drums and get in contact with the fans again and to share the stage with my band mates“, commented Mick Fleetwood. “I'm already so excited. It seems everything will come together and 2013 will be the year of Fleetwood Mac“ said Stevie Nicks. “I really can't wait to be on the road again with Stevie, Mick and John. It is more than three years ago since we have been together on tour. Fortunately I could enter some new territory and I want to give all the new experiences to the band. When we will all move into the same direction than there will be a big celebration. Long live Fleetwood Mac”, said Lindsey Buckingham. “I am so glad to be on the road again“, commented John McVie.
