Linea Aspera - Support: Bestial Mouths
LINEA ASPERA (Latin: Rough Line) is a Dark Wave / Minimal Wave band that formed in London in 2011. The band members are Ryan Ambridge (Synths/ Programming) and Zoè Zanias (born Alison Lewis - Vocals/ Synths). Within the duo, Alison writes and performs all vocal elements, while Ryan is responsible for producing, recording and mixing the electronics. They released their debut album in June 2012.
Despite the success of the debut LINEA ASPERA disbanded in 2013. Zoè Zanias formed KELUAR with Sid Lamar from SCHWEFELGELB and later decided to go solo under her name ZANIAS. On September 16th, 2019, LINEA ASPERA published “Hey, we’re back!” on their Facebook page and announced a number of gigs in Europe. So if you ever felt sorry that you could not see them live: this is the opportunity!
