Chemnitz-based artist Pedro Engel aka Acylum strikes back with a 3rd album, "The Enemy", which is to be released officially on October 30th. Expect powerful elektro tunes, harsh vocals and massive sound arrangements mixing dark noise and lifting orchestral arrangements. Early birds can already check out audio previews of this release on the label's website as Alfa Matrix label has already started taking pre-orders for both the standard format and the limited 2CD edition one. The limited deluxe carton box edition includes the bonus remix album "Der Feind" presenting some 15 reinterpretations of album songs by various artists in the likes of Leaether Strip, Supreme Court, FGFC820, Implant, PNE, Cephalgy, Ice Ages, Asseptic Room and many more.

The Chemnitz-based dark electro project started back in 2004. His debut album "Your Pain" was released in 2005 and the radical use of provocative samples immediately brought him some controversial reactions amongst the press in Germany in particular where some historical moments remain touchy and taboo. The follow-up album "Mental Disorder" was released in 2007 and got him comparisons to the early period of bands such as :Wumpscut: or Suicide Commando. A first new track, "Crazy", was released on the label's "Re:connected 3.0" 2CD/DVD label sampler and many will also know the band from their excellent Depeche Mode cover of "It's no good" for the "Alfa Matrix re:covered - a tribute to Depeche Mode" 2CD.
