The time has come. Zillo Medieval, the quarterly released magazine for all things medieval and music will be in stores as of 3rd December and presents history and stories. “Another medieval mag?” some might ask. Why? The answer is easy! Because the medieval media landscape could use some fresh wind. The new Zillo magazine is aiming to rid the history of the dust of centuries and to breathe new life into past times. But it also dives headfirst into the turmoil of fantastic worlds, of role playing and re-enactment. The magazine bridges between understanding and reinvention of a bygone era. Proficient, but always with a wink, because laughing was in at all times.

How close fact and fiction can be was impressively shown while dealing with the first titular character of Zillo Medieval: King Arthur! In a multi-faceted main feature, Zillo Medieval is following the myth from its very beginning to the present days and covers a variety of things about the noble knights, Merlin or the search for the Holy Grail. Falk Irmenfried von Hasen-Mümmelstein (Saltatio Mortis) welcomes you as prominent guest in Camelot.

Further contents of the first Zillo Medieval will be SCHELMISH explaining in their very unique way medieval terms or the start of a series, concerning sexuality in medieval times and observations about music archaeology which is going to shed light on other historical subjects. CORVUS CORAX and TANZWUT once were two faces of a band; now they’re two bands with – at least in parts – new faces. In Zillo Medieval Castus Rabensang und Teufel will talk about past and future. News on Elane, Elfenthal, Pampatut and Saltatio Mortis will complement the musical part of the magazine, topped off by an exclusive CD, full of medieval sounds.

Furthermore included will be:
 - A Castle Report
 - Help on how to build chain armour
- Recipes of the Hohenstaufen dynasty
- Important new releases in Book, Games, Movies & Music
- A maid for the knight’s locker

…and much more
