Left Spine Down recording new album with Dave "Rave" Ogilvie, details "under lock and key" The group has returned to the studio to record 10 songs slated for their upcoming album. Recent photos of various members recording tracks and setting up instruments (including new drummer Galen Waling) have been popping up on Facebook, as well as reports coming in the form of status updates and tweets from their lead singer kAINE D3L4Y.

"The new songs have been nothing short of amazing. Each and every song in demo form alone has made my hair stand up on end!" exclaims band manager Mark Sommer. "This is an exciting new era for LSD."

Matt Girvan adds: "The last session - especially hearing what's been done with our latest track - has me really excited to see it all come together."

"I just about soiled myself and torn my ears off all at once after hearing just the first of many new tracks", says drummer Galen Waling. "It has us going in a much more mature direction but defnitely still has the signature LSD sound to it."

The group has withheld the album's title from the general public.

"The album's details are very much under lock and key;" kAINE D3L4Y explains, "as someone is out to kill me and I hope this album gets finished before I get rubbed out."

The band is in the studio with Vancouver industrial music veteran Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (who's produced and engineered various albums for Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, and Marilyn Manson to name a few) for the remainder of the year and the album will be released by the second half of 2011. The band will continue to keep fans updated on various blogs and sites around the web.
