IN THE SILENCE is a band from California, in their ‘A Fair Dream Gone Mad’ you’ll find songs that fuse together progressive elements, soft atmospheric and emotive passages with angst-giving elements of Modern Metal. This is accessible and yet it managed not to compromise its soul to market’s Mammon. Song structures can do with some more variations though.
Conclusion: Somewhat hypnotising which can either detract (you might find it monotonous and somewhat droning) or enthuse (dreamy, melancholy, emotionally intense, that effect of Shoegaze and not being exactly of that trend).
